The short version: we don't want your files, and we don't get them. Every tool on MyDocumentTools runs entirely in your browser — nothing you upload, paste, or process is ever sent to a server.

Your files

PDFs, images, and text you process with any tool on this site stay on your device. The merging, compressing, converting, and formatting all happen in JavaScript running in your own browser. We have no server-side upload endpoint for these tools, so there is no copy of your files for us to see, store, or lose.

What we store locally

The only thing this site saves is your light/dark theme preference, kept in your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device and we have no access to it.

Cookies

We don't set any cookies, and we don't run any analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts.

Server logs

Like any website, basic request information (such as IP address and browser user agent) may be logged automatically by our hosting provider for security and reliability purposes. We don't use these logs for tracking or profiling, and we don't link them to anything you do with the tools themselves.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example, if we ever add an analytics or advertising script — we'll update this page and revise the date above.
